Happy 80th Birthday, Ellenora!

We just keep having more fun! Happy 80th Birthday Ellenora -- and, many more! We visited Lake Havasu City to help celebrate Ellenora's 80th Birthday, and what a birthday it was! What a milestone birthday, huh! Gosh, Kristi and I met while working at the Bank of ND - umm, about 30 years ago - and the rest is history. Ellenora is Kristi's Mom, and our wonderful friend! Happy Birthday!

What a great weekend spent with WONDERFUL FRIENDS. Ellenora, Henry, Kristi, Gary, Cindy, Ruth, (we missed you Barry), Scott, Tammy, Arden, Dee, Doug, Corrine, Aaron, Jim, Barb, Cheryl, Perry...... all ! What a GREAT time, and I hope I can celebrate like this on my 80th.

What a Weekend!

What a fun weekend!

Mark and Deb called to let us know that Luke, Karen and Emmett were here for the weekend. We thought we'd all meet up for dinner. We still miss having them living near us, so of course - we would love to meet up for dinner! Ends up, lot's of us were able to hook up. We all met up for dinner on Friday night, then Mark and Debs ended up staying up here Friday and Saturday nights. I can't even start to tell you how much fun we had!! So, dinner on Friday, Bob made his now-famous pancakes on Saturday morning, beers together Saturday afternoon.... hot tub and wine on Saturday night. Well, I couldn't ask for more! I am lucky to have inherited the best family :)

Here are some pics from Friday dinner.... who was there: Mark, Deb, Amy, Luke, Karen, Emmett, Bob, Donna , Aaron, Ryan, Julie, Carl and Jack Canales, Allison and Chuck.

YUM - Pancakes!

One of my Christmas Gifts this year was this huge griddle! That may sound strange, but, his reason behind it is that on some weekends, he will cook us up pancakes for breakfast. We didn't have a pan large enough..... look how big he makes them...... so he first would make mine, then his. Since I eat so quickly, Bob usually ended up having breakfast alone. So, this is our new griddle, and Bob is making us pancakes today for breakfast. YUM -- buttermilk pancakes with blueberries and pecans. What a nice way to start the day :)

Happy New Year

OK, I need to learn how to use the auto-timer on my camera! It was early, but, I suggested that we take our New Year annual photo. Picture this.... each of these photos, I'm setting up the camera for a timed pic, I hit the button, run over next to Bob.......Well, here are the results --

Anyway, HAPPY NEW YEAR TO EVERYONE!

Love, Bob and Donna :)

Happy Birthday to Mark

Happy Birthday Mark! Mark has hit yet another milestone birthday --60! Congratulations! I called friends and family to hook up for an afternoon on Saturday -- Deb had NOTHING to do with it, believe me. We had a surprise party for him, and after he was finished being just a little mad, I think he loved it :) We all had a great time, it's fun celebrating with friends and family. So, happy birthday Mark, and many more!! Here are just a few picks of Mark and Deb, and most beautiful grandchildren Max and Liz. Max is a HOOT! I just can't get enough of either of those kids..... they are so great. Hopefully I'll have a blog soon to share with Liz. Ummmm, it's about an ear and that's about all I can share with you at this point :)

Here are the rest of the pics from the fun day:

Another GREAT Christmas Celebration

Kate and Jerry invited the family to their home to celebrate Christmas. It was great -- great to see the Frohlich's, Hougen's and most of the Rahrich's. Chris spent the day working, so we didn't have a chance to see her. The day was fun -- good food, drinks and Family. We even did some celebrating with Jerry's Mom, Donna and family and Allen - via his webcam. Pretty neat!

I am looking through all of the wonderful pictures from the day, which is shared with you:

But, I thought the best was this one..... The Aunt's challenged our nieces and nephews to game of 'Outburst'..... I don't even remember who won, if anyone..... but, none of us 'Aunts' could read the cards -- ummmm, due to poor lighting I think. Mary was kind enough to hold a flashlight for each of us while we donned our reading glasses. !! Too funny. Getting older is great :)

Happy Holidays!
