Happy Easter

Bob and I spent the first part of our Easter at Allisons -- Allison, Chuck, Matt and Chuck's parents were there for an Easter Brunch -- very nice. Allison slaved in the kitchen and made a wonder Easter Brunch for everyone! We then moved on to the Hougen's for Easter Dinner. Of course it was wonderful! Barb and Kevin made a fantastic spread and Kate finished up with a great Easter decorated cake. Fun Day! Enjoy the pictures:

Easter Card from Cindy and Dad

The picture is a bit blurry, but still very nice :)

Cindy was visiting Dad on Easter, and a nice lady took this picture of Dad and Cindy. They both look so good! Dad is wearing a nice vest that Kate and Jerry gave him for Christmas. He seems to be quite happy in Strasburg, thanks to everyone at the Care Home and for Cinsia for always taking care of him. Cinsia looks good, huh! I miss you guys. XXOO

Happy 1st Birthday to Emmett

Little Emmett celebrated his 1st birthday! He is SO CUTE! Luke and Karen were back in Colorado to celebrate the big occasion. I still can't believe he is a year old already, and since we don't see them very often it was fun to see that he has grown into a little boy and hardly a baby anymore! He is walking everywhere and is very social with everyone. We had a fun afternoon with everyone. It's always nice to see Karen and Luke, and they have lots of nice friends and family.

Happy Birthday Emmett!!

My Dad - the Olympian

I'm so proud of my Dad! He is the winner of the 'Bulls-eye' contest at the Care Home where he lives in Strasburg, ND! It doesn't end here - all of the Care Homes in the area are having the same competitions and in the Spring is the OLYMPICS. My Dad is going to the Olympics for the Strasburg home. Congrats to Dad. Whether he wins or not, he is and will always be a champion to me :) Congratulations and Good Luck, Dad!

Oh, and, please take note of audience!!

Oh, and By the Way....

We are SO LOOKING FORWARD to seeing Luke, Karen and Emmett :)

Emmett is turning 1 -- ONE! Do we all believe it!!!!

See you guys soon!

Happy Birthday to Bob !

Oh, and, I've been catching up today, but......

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO BOB !

The joy of my life.

I don't know if it was poor planning, or a GREAT birthday present! Bob ended up having knee surgery today -- a knee scope, his meniscus was torn on each side of the knee. ANYWAY, on his birthday I had to take him in for surgery this morning - that's the bad news.

The good news -- when he made his appointment, Bob agreed to participate in a case study that washes the area during surgery with somewhat of a pain medicine. That's all we know, and didn't know (still don't) if he would receive the medicine or placebo. We are all thinking (including his surgeon) that he got the 'real' thing. Bob has not taken as much of a Tylenol since his surgery this morning!!! He is pain FREE. Amazing! So, Happy Birthday to Bob! He is able to enjoy the day!

Oh, and, if anyone is in need of knee surgery -- call us! Really, this is fantastic!!

He still has to rest and ice - but, he feels kind of 'put out' by this :)

Happy 4th Birthday to Ryan :)

It's hard to believe that Ryan is already 4. FOUR! He's growing up so fast, it's amazing. He is so smart, and so fun - he's very smart for his age. I missed his party :( But, Bub was there - he wouldn't miss it! Happy Birthday Ryan and many, many more!
Grandma Sandy made the beautiful cake - looks like Ryan is pretty proud of this :)
Here are some pictures!

MEXICO :)

Bob and I spent a week long THAW in Puerto Vallarta the last week in February. I don't think I need to tell you how wonderful it was. I'll try though.... the first day we were there it was about 82 and sunny, the second day was about 82 and sunny, I believe the 3rd day was about 82...etc. Truly, every day was perfect, I wonder what joy it would bring to live there - at least for a short while, especially in winter. It was so nice. Bob and I had a great time, here are some pictures - they probably mean more to us, but believe us both -- WHAT A GREAT TIME!!!
